With a Ph.D. in the burgeoning field of Cognitive Science, I am constantly facing questions of learning, understanding, and dealing with problems. My academic work has centered on how problems are discovered, how the perception of one's situation impacts how it may be solved, and how to work with limited information.

Cognitive Science is an interdisciplinary field that combines areas of study that strive to understand how thought and thinking work. By incorporating research from a variety of places, a better overall understanding is possible.

My background includes AI and computer science, philosophy, psychology and anthropology. I am always interested in learning new things and exploring how learning happens. I constantly tinker and work on projects to expand what is possible given the tools at hand.
